Earlier this summer, AASF University traveled to Intertek, one of the leading quality control testers internationally. One of their specializations is ASTM standard tests, some of which test air and water infiltration on storefronts, curtain walls, and panels. Additionally, Intertek runs structural and impact tests, simulating the potential effects of debris being blown into specific building sections during high-wind natural occurrences like hurricanes.
