Above All Storefronts has been involved in many renovation projects over the years. Our team has experience in high-quality architectural glazing, custom window systems, and ornamental metalwork that enhances a property’s interior and exterior design.
In July 2025, our teams collaborated on the expansion and renovation of NYU Lagnon Health’s HCC lobby, which focuses on advanced patient care. These much-needed changes improved foot traffic, enhanced safety, and created a more welcoming environment for visitors and patients alike.
Glass and Wall Systems
Part of this project included Bendheim back-painted glass along the walls. We organized them by customized stainless steel bar channels, 3/8” plate portals at the doorways, and brake-formed portals at the base of the elevator doors.
Stair, Railing, and Circulation Elements
The painted stair cladding was designed and manufactured by our team, along with glass guardrails with stainless-steel caps and handrail brackets. At the base of the lobby stairs, we continued the handrail with freestanding stanchion supports around the landing to the lower level. We also had a similar glass guardrail at the entrance ramp, and mounted handrail brackets and supports to the opposing stone wall.
Custom Stainless Steel Fabrication and Finishes
We had fabricated and installed a 5-leaf stainless steel bi-fold door with custom laser-etched and back-painted lettering. Our team installed stainless steel corner guards and caps on all stone columns, and stainless steel base trim and custom corner covers at every location throughout the project. These details highlight the numerous wall finishes within the space.
Doors & Specialty Systems
We also installed 3 pairs of power-operated CRL doors, 3 Kawneer Insulpour doors, 11 TGP fire-rated doors with power operators, and 2 TGP Clearview window walls. We also did a 100′ long smoke baffle along the stair wall, all of the convector covers, and made trim and cladding all over the place to tie the old building into the new work.
The property’s cafe also featured two columns clad with 3/8” Stainless steel plates, a niche trimmed out with stainless steel plate, and custom-fabricated and installed countertops. Our ornamental metals division managed the countertop fabrication.

This recent project focused on improving a busy area with heavy foot traffic. The stainless steel we used is versatile, low-maintenance, and durable, making it much more resistant to wear and tear. Additionally, our glass systems are easy to clean. This makes them perfect for hospital lobbies, where keeping a space clean and professional is essential.
