We take pride in all of our projects, but are especially honored when we can participate in building a structure that delivers vitally needed affordable housing and a market rate offering to the Bedford-Stuyvesant area, where residents have struggled for a long time to find housing they can reasonably pay for.
This 474,000-square-foot development, completed in December, 2025, increases the amount of affordable units in the neighborhood by more than 50%. We were pleased to be tapped to work on this impactful project since we have provided top-tier architectural glazing and cladding services since 1993 and enjoy improving the look of any community.

Our goal for this project was to work with the other project partners to deliver an aesthetically pleasing appearance since this is a 17 story, 456 -unit multifamily rental building consisting of one, two and three bedroom units. Residents will enjoy a fitness center, game room, lounge, gold simulator, screening room and landscaped roof deck. 31,000 square feet of ground floor retail space and an underground parking garage round out the property.
PROJECT DETAILS USED TO BEST SERVE THE RESIDENTS
1600UT Curtain Wall
For this project it was important that we use the Kawneer 1600 curtain wall system for a variety of reasons. This commercial grade curtain wall helps to achieve the desired architectural look (in this case sleek and modern glass facades), but also for meeting strict local building codes and performance for a restaurant serving a steady stream of customers in a public space.
What is a curtain wall system? Curtain wall systems are non-structural systems for the external walls of buildings. As a global leader in curtain wall system manufacturing, Kawneer engineers a comprehensive range of curtain wall systems available in traditional stick fabrication and unitized options.

Blast mitigation, hurricane resistance
Alucobond Panel Canopy & Trim
While it’s always important to have exterior design elements that focus on protection, it’s just as important that they offer aesthetic appeal. For this structure we used Alucobond panel canopy and trim to provide that. Made in the USA and manufactured by 3A Composites, ALUCOBOND is manufactured in a range of sizes and trend-forward colors and finishes, both Standard and Non-Standard. Using these inspired materials helped us stay true to the intent of the building, to offer intentionally designed spaces, both indoor and out.
ALUCOBOND products are chosen for outstanding attributes such as flatness, formability, durability, and ease of fabrication. To complement that, they offer trend-forward colors and finishes and array of custom color options to create inspiring architectural concepts and influential brand elements.
Crane Revolving Door
Since this building required an entrance that is safe, secure and user-friendly, we installed a Crane Revolving door. The beauty of Crane manual and automatic revolving doors can be found in buildings worldwide. In this case, we knew residents would need a door that offered quicker traffic flow in high volume situations.
Crane’s has made it their mission to create beautiful, functional and spacious revolving doors. They have perfected their operating hardware, including the renowned bookfold system and a uniquely designed weather seal. In minimizing external air exchange, a crane revolving door will usually pay for itself in energy savings within three-to-five years.
1 1/8″ UV Bird Glass & Louvers
When it comes to structures built in the Northeast, the windows must withstand many weather elements commonly found in an area that regularly experiences four seasons. Due to the height of the building, it was also important to install glass that is bird safe. Since many of the units were designed with expansive floor to ceiling windows to allow the natural light to filter in, the glass needed to be durable. All met the following criteria:
- LaminatedTempered
- Heat-Strengthened
- Insulated
- Decorative
- Fire-Rated
- Bird-Safe
