Safety is Our Priority: Tool Box Talks and More

As a family owned and operated business, Above All Store Fronts takes the safety of our workers and their well being on our job sites very seriously. We have found there is a big difference between being compliant with standard safety rule regulations versus taking an active approach to keep all of our employees informed and focused. Our leadership team, led by President John Cashel, continues to keep this issue a priority as it is what helps to set the company apart from other architectural glazing and cladding services on Long Island.

Tool Box Talks

Run by one of our certified safety officers, we identify various topics that can directly affect our workers and discuss them in great detail. These conversations are meant to keep safety and prevention top of mind with all employees, with the ultimate goal of preventing any job related accidents.

We believe communication is key, so having everyone attend these talks is a way to promote a culture of excellence where everyone works together to heighten awareness of what could go wrong. Job sites can be tricky, so our supervisors review the hazards that can sometimes be unique to a certain job site.

Accident Prevention Program

Our safety planning and accident prevention planning is an integral part of everything we do. We start to incorporate this during the bidding process and it continues until the job is complete. By formalizing this process, it helps to eliminate personal injury and property damage, which not only mitigates risks, but also helps to keep costs down.

Site Safety Plans

The construction landscape is constantly changing with ever changing technology, supply challenges and new techniques. With all of these changes comes new rules and regulations. Our safety coordinator is responsible for communicating all project details by creating project specific site safety plans.
