New York Tech’s Biomedical Research, Innovation, and Imaging Center is a leading hub for collaborative biomedical research on Long Island. The center brings together specialists in osteopathic medicine, computer science, engineering, chemistry, and materials science to address critical health issues. As New York Tech works toward achieving R2 status, a Carnegie classification for institutions with high research activity, The Biomedical Research, Innovation, and Imaging Center is instrumental in developing innovative methods for diagnosing and treating diseases.
On January 2, 2025, Above All Store Fronts was proud to be part of a big project, completing a new 4-story addition and expansion to the existing hospital. A total of 42 new cardiac care unit patient rooms on two floors were added, along with three new triage/reception storefronts using a custom CRL 478 series framing, 9/16” electric laminated glazing with Stanley manual sliders and round mirrors. Boatloads of 9/16” + ½” clear tempered/low-iron laminated channel glazing were added at shared workspaces and garden walls. The team at Above All Store Fronts also installed 24 custom white painted aluminum wall-mounted garden boxes in the waiting rooms, Bendheim textured glazing and glass doors at multi-purpose rooms, McGrory Captivehook glass systems at corridor/elevator lobbies, and 30+ Besam SW200i low-energy auto operators/wave plates.
