Glazing has become an important addition to modern office design as it allows for an entry of natural light into the central areas of an office building, making office areas seem much more spacious. Glazing in office spaces has been proven to improve productivity, reduce employee absence, and improve general well-being. The design concept also aims to reduce energy usage and generate more LEED points (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) – a rating system developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) to evaluate the environmental performance of buildings.
